Founded in 1987, the origins of MY-LEX are rooted in content management and integration. With founder Matt Moayedi starting his own compact disc factory, before evolving his idea to create technology to search for content on these discs, giving people the ability to easily search large volumes of data instantly. From here, MY-LEX became an innovator in the field of enterprise search and content integration, constantly advancing its technology alongside the evolution of data storage, adapting to the demands of the internet and organisations using data harvesters, connectors and management systems storing a vast array of data types. Leading to solutions that can now meet the needs of any organisation looking for information management, data retrieval and archiving.

MY-LEX, now managed by Matt’s sons, Sean and Mark, is looking to continue the evolution of its technology and expand into new territories and sectors, with a potential focus on housing associations, the healthcare industry and governmental organisations in Europe. Building on its success with these sectors in the Netherlands.

To achieve this goal, MY-LEX will capitalise on Abingdon’s extensive knowledge of public and private sectors, gaining insight and support from its portfolio of global software companies. With access to Abingdon’s financial resources and technical expertise, MY-LEX gains a competitive advantage and partnership that will undoubtedly build on the strong infrastructure and product offering MY-LEX has established over its 35+ years.
