The company’s origins stem from the goal of digitalising the process of clocking in and out of work. Once the team achieved this objective, Webclok continued to evolve its technology to create a suite of products tailored to customer needs. This led to the development of, among others, scheduling tools that give employees the ability to advertise open shifts for co-workers to bid on,as well as other features such as a payroll-based journal reporting system and expense tracking that staff can use to upload receipts, enter mileage and obtain approval on any costs incurred. Recent product evolutions incorporate GPS, facial recognition RFID and Biometric technology.
The objective moving forward is to continue this product expansion, creating bespoke solutions for specific industries and territories. This includes increasing the company’s presence in international markets beyond the US and Canada.
To achieve this, Webclock has partnered with Abingdon to refine and enhance its business strategy and marketing activities. Historically the business has grown through referrals and existing relationships. Through its partnership with Abingdon, Webclock is developing its promotional materials and now has a robust 100-day marketing plan focusing on bold, proactive actions that will increase brand awareness and reach new audiences.
